The trio – an 18-year-old man, a 17-year-old boy and a 15-year-old girl – drove to Summit Avenue just north of Belmont Avenue for the purported sale shortly before 6 p.m. Jan. 11, Capt. Darren Sucorowski said.
Suddenly, a man wearing dark clothes and a ski mask got into the back seat, pulled a handgun from his bag and threatened to shoot the girl if they didn't hand over their cash, cellphones, and belongings, Sucorowski said.
He fled with the goods through a Summit Avenue backyard, they told police.
